Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)

Helping individuals achieve a happier, more fulfilling life

At Mend Psychiatry in Ohio, we understand that relationships are an essential part of mental well-being. Our team of psychiatric doctors and mental health counselors is dedicated to helping you achieve a happier, more fulfilling life through Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). IPT is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to address depression and other psychiatric disorders, ultimately promoting emotional healing and personal growth.

What is Interpersonal Therapy?

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) is a short-term, structured psychotherapy approach that focuses on the relationship between one's mental health and interpersonal issues. It was initially developed for the treatment of depression but has since been adapted to address other mental health concerns, such as anxiety and eating disorders. Our psychiatric doctors and mental health counselors are well-versed in IPT techniques, ensuring you receive the highest level of care and support throughout your therapy journey.

How it Works
